Meet the Navarino Property Team

Justin Goldberg - Principal 

Justin is a Principal of Navarino Capital Management, an investment firm he co-founded with his father, Bernard Goldberg, in 2009. Navarino’s principals own a portfolio of 40 properties in Connecticut and Rhode Island, principally comprised of 1,750 apartments.

Justin has over 20 years of experience in real estate operations and finance, having been personally involved in many aspects of his family’s real estate business since 1996. From 2004 to 2009, Justin held a number of positions at the General Electric Company, and graduated from its Financial Management Program. As an Associate Director at GE Real Estate, he underwrote more than 200 real estate deals valued in excess of $10 billion.

Since founding Navarino, Justin has led the acquisition of forty-five properties (1,900 units) and disposition of five properties (120 units). He is actively involved in intense and pro-active management, and continues to deliver value to partners and residents.

Justin received an undergraduate degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University and completed the General Course at the London School of Economics.

Elon Zapinsky- Controller

Elon Zapinsky is a Certified Public Accountant and the Controller at Navarino Capital Management LLC, in Bridgeport, CT.

He has prior experience at Deloitte LLP, Merrill Lynch & Co. and UBS Investment Bank.

He is a graduate of New York University - Stern School of Business.

Michael Chorzewski- Director of Investor Relations

Michael Chorzewski joined Navarino Capital Management in 2016 as the Director of Investor Relations. Prior to Navarino, Michael held various positions on Wall Street including at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch. Michael is a graduate of Binghamton University.
